Full-Time Faculty Openings

Lecturer in Biology, Division of Science, IU Columbus

A non-tenure track appointment is available on August 1, 2025, at the rank of Lecturer in the Division of Science at IU Columbus. The position is a ten-month teaching assignment with responsibilities for teaching four sections each semester (equal to 24 contact hours per year) and for engaging in service activities at the campus level.

Lecturer of Nursing, IU School of Nursing, IU Columbus

The Lecturer rank is responsible for teaching clinical and/or didactic courses in the undergraduate program and other courses as appropriate. Responsibilities include teaching nursing students in accordance with area of graduate preparation and/or professional experience; evaluating students in accordance with the course competencies and requirements; assuming Course Leader responsibilities as needed; participating in university and/or community service in support of teaching; mentoring new faculty members as needed; and participating in professional development.

Director of Student Affairs (Student Programming Specialist)

The Director of Student Affairs plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises the components of student affairs, with direct responsibilities in mental health outreach, cultural student groups/program planning, and facilitates student leadership. The director acts in the role of the Ombudsperson, serves as Deputy Title IX Coordinator, as well as serves as the leader of the Behavioral Consultation team.
