Diversifying for Sustainability of the faculty-mentoring program. We broadened the range of faculty mentors we were utilizing so that we could keep the program going. The initial program included only faculty who were pre-promotion and under-represented in broadly-defined way. We have since broadened our target faculty population to include and encourage all faculty to participate in our faculty mentoring program. This allowed us to make the program more sustainable. We have a cohort each year, and are able to reach new faculty every year as well as faculty who participated in the past, but who seek mentoring in different areas as their career progresses.
