The federal work-study program provides funding for part-time jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. There are a wide range of on-campus jobs that pay more than $10 per hour for up to 20 hours per week. The number of hours you can work is dependent upon your total federal work-study award amount.
The types of jobs available include:
- Student ambassadors
- Assistants in divisional and administrative offices
- Marketing and Communications assistants
- Food service
- Research assistants
- Welcome Desk
You must be registered for at least six hours of classes in order to participate in the federal work-study program, and your eligibility is dependent upon your federal financial aid determination.
