When it comes to university ceremonies and events, some of your information will be made public unless you’ve requested a student directory restriction:
- News releases listing your name as a candidate for graduation and/or as an honor student will be sent to newspapers whose circulation area includes the zip code on your home town.
- Commencement and Honors Convocation programs listing your name as a candidate for graduation and/or as an honor student will be available to students and family members who attend the ceremonies.
- Your name may be included on university web sites and in departmental and alumni newsletters.
