LSTU-L 331 GLOBAL PROBLEMS: LOCAL SOLUTIONS (3 CR.)
The course examines local manifestations of global problems confronting society, workers, and labor by analyzing issues, creating solutions/activities to address these issues. Governmental, non-governmental, and charitable organizations that aid with local problems are examined and students design solutions for global situations characterized by flexibility, insecurity, and geographic mobility.
