Students will examine textual and literary approaches to editing given particular rhetorical contexts. Emphasis will be placed on how to make editorial judgments that promote editorial standards without violating authorial intent.

Lecture (LEC)
- HD/Hybrid-Distance Video & Online; Students and the instructor will meet regularly through live Zoom sessions (synchronously), with the remaining instruction completed online (asynchronously).
- The class will meet via Zoom for one hour each week. The regularly scheduled weekly Zoom meeting will be on Thursdays from 7 to 8 PM. At the beginning of the semester, the instructor may add alternate meeting times to accommodate students who are unavailable at the regularly scheduled meeting time.
