Professional Summary
Dr. Carr is a clinical assistant professor in the mental health counseling program. He holds a B.A. in Psychology with Honors from Florida State University, a M.S. in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and Human Systems from Florida State University. He completed a predoctoral internship at the Kansas State University Counseling Center and a postdoctoral residency in community mental health serving clients with severe and persistent mental illness. His research interests include the use of technology to improve counselor training and the delivery of mental health services and to better understanding the overlap between mental health and career.
