Upcoming Visit Opportunities
We host several types of planned events for students and their families to visit campus, meet with faculty and staff, and learn more about the great opportunities that await at IU Columbus.
Get to Know IU Columbus visit days are offered throughout the year. Juniors and seniors are invited to discover what IU Columbus has to offer. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour campus, meet with faculty and staff, and receive IU Columbus materials.
Sessions for Spring 2025 are on Feb. 17 (9:30-11 a.m.) and April 3 (1:30-3 p.m.).
College Goal Sunday is Feb. 23 (2-4 p.m.) for free expert help for filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) at 40 locations across Indiana, including IU Columbus. Learn more at collegegoalsunday.org/.
Walk-in Transfer Week is March 17-21 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for students who are considering transferring to IU Columbus to get individualized help and answers to their questions.
"It's in the Bag" Week is March 31-April 4 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for walk-in help for students who are considering applying to IU Columbus. Participants will receive a free IU Columbus bag.
Jump on Board Juniors is April 4 for high school juniors from school districts that participate in the Seamless Pathways program.
"Plant your Roots" Week is July 14-18 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for walk-in help for students who are considering applying to IU Columbus. Participants will receive a tree seedling.
Individual Appointment with an Admissions Counselor
If you’d like to setup an individual appointment with an admissions counselor, schedule online or call us at (812) 348-7390. During an individual visit you are able to meet one-on-one with an counselor to discuss whether IU Columbus is a good fit for you.
