To earn an IU Bachelor of Science in Education degree you will complete 120 to 126 credit hours. Additionally, you must establish and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher as an undergraduate student. To graduate in four years, you will need to complete at least 15 credit hours of required course work each semester. No course below a C will count toward the degree. Finally, you must complete 30 of the last 60 credit hours at IU Columbus.

Program admission requirements
Before you can begin professional courses, field experiences, and student teaching, you must apply for admission into the Teacher Education Program (TEP) at IU Columbus. Work closely with your academic advisor to make sure that you finish the required general education courses and meet the additional admission criteria.
